To purchase a GAP Gift Voucher: Go to the booking calendar (www.thegap.ie/book-online) and select a date that the GAP is not open. The ‘Gift Voucher’ product should be the only item available for purchase. You can select any value you please and the voucher is not tied to a date. You can set it up that the voucher sends directly to your inbox, or you can set a time for the gift voucher to arrive in the recipient’s inbox. Please note we do not have physical gift vouchers. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Please note we require 48 hours notice for cancellations and amendments. If you have cancelled with 48+ hours notice your booking will be fully refunded or amended to a new date at no additional charge.
Please note the GAP MTB Club is an entirely seperate entity from the GAP Bike park. However if you are interested in joining a mountain biking club that goes on regular group spins and meet ups including club uplift days then the GAP MTB club might be for you. The club is free to join but you need a Cycling Ireland licence. When renewing your Cycling Ireland Licence simply select GAP MTB as your club. You will then be added to the whatsapp group and can join in on the spins!
Unfortunatley we do not currently have any membership options for frequent GAP users that want to pay monthly or yearly for their pedal pass, uplift or Bike rental. We will hopefully have something like this in place in the future. If you have any ideas around how this could work we encourage your opinion so please feel free to email in.
The Pedal pass is basic entrance to the GAP trail network via pedalling your bike up the pedal up track. This is the least expensive option, it does not include Bike rental so you will need to have your own bike and safety gear! We fully recommend wearing a full face helmet. We have them available to purchase or rent in reception. Note if you book an uplift pass you are not required to book a pedal pass for the same day. They are a ‘one or the other’ type product.
Bike Rental is a completely seperate product to the uplift and does not some included in the cost of Uplift.Â
We do not have coaches but we run a number of coaching events throughout the year. The Youth Downhill runs on the first Wednesday of the April and October Midterm. Its geared towards 8-16 year olds that are interested in meeting the stars of the MTB world as well as receiving coaching from top Irish coaches and getting an idea of what it will feel like to experience race track conditions. The day ends with a goody bag for each child.
Please note our trails are graded Blue, Red & Black with + and pro line gradings to signafy a higher ability required. We do not currently have any Green ‘Beginner’ Trails in the park. The trails start from ‘Blue’ which is intermediate. This means they require some previous mountain biking experience.
Bike Rental includes a full face helmet, elbow pads and knee pads. What it does not include is the pedal pass or uplift, these need to be booked seperate. If you have your own pedals, these can be put on the rental. The mechanic accepts no responsibility for the condition of the pedals if they have been provided by the customer.
