MET EIREANN HAVE ISSUED AN ORANGE WEATHER WARNING THIS WEEKEND. (December 8th)
And judging from what we woke up to here at GAP HQ this morning, its not to be taken lightly. We fully intend to keep ‘er lit tomorrow. The lads will be in first thing in the morning to do trail inspection as normal.
Once the trails are inspected we will have an update posted to the Facebook page @ 8:30amIn the event that the weather makes it unsafe to open, anyone who is booked in has the option of a full refund or transferring their booking to another day.We’ll have more information tomorrow about what’s happening Sunday.

Anyone who has booked in for tomorrow or is intending to come down. It’s not looking good, but hey! Weather reports have been wrong before right?

Thursday December 14th
The GAP is closed today, we got a little bit too excited yesterday and thought we were back in action. The snow turned to water and froze the tracks to ice overnight. Hopefully all will be well tomorrow.
